went out this morning and caught three small brookies in a half hour on a small black midge emerger.

also did real well with it in the Bighorn Mnts. of northern Wyoming. cuttys loved it.

Recipe for fly:

Bubble Midge Emerger

hook: 18- 22 scud hook

weighted with a glass bead head

abdomen: black V-rib midge size

thorax: peacock or peacock ice dubbing

wing: natural CDC feather
